The Beast shut down the Mustangs Tuesday night as goaltender Zach Carrano stopped 31 of 33 shots on goal.

Steve Plachtyna and Mike Henrici each scored twice, with Dillon O'Hara and Chris Lockwood each scoring for the Beast. John O'Connor and Mike DiClemente both had two assists.

Forwards Mike Pierne and Dan Mauriello each scored for the Mustangs, and goaltender Matt Allatin made 19 saves.
